“The owners are devoted to the arts and craft style that defines not only the architecture of the Inn but also the décor. In fact, if you weren’t already familiar with this movement, also referred to as Mission style, before you came to the Inn, you will be by the time you leave thanks to the abundant coffee table books available in the Great Room. This style, with its simple lines, natural materials, porches, sun-filled rooms, not only strove to bring nature into the dwelling but also was believed to contribute to physical and psychological health. No wonder my stay at the Inn felt so serene.”
