I can't say enough regarding our excellent experience at Lake Pointe Inn in McHenry MD. My husband and I have had numerous romantic getaways at this hotel and we keep coming back for a good reason. This time we booked 6 rooms. We had our family(adult children) and dear friends with us to celebrate a milestone birthday for my husband. A stay at this Deep Creek Lake hotel is the gift he wanted for his 60th! Friends and family together near Deep Creek Lake. Scott's answer was yes to our needs and his hotel staff wonderfully accommodated all 12 of us! We stayed in 6 of the rooms there. All of the rooms are unique and special in their own way. We had delicious freshly made breakfasts each morning with goodies in the afternoon. Loved being outside by the fire-pit one evening. We were all very comfortable in the grand room by the fireplace as we all enjoyed each other's company. Many of us enjoyed the sauna and the amenities in our rooms. I want to thank Scott and his staff for making this trip to Deep Creek Lake, MD, one we all will remember. I'm sure we will all be back for another hotel visit when time allows.
