A double-sided fireplace can be enjoyed from both the in-room jacuzzi or the bedroom, and the double shower makes this room especially romantic. The Friend room has a private reading nook overlooking Marsh Cove and our inviting firepit, which makes this room one of the most popular at the Lake Pointe Inn.

My husband and I stayed at the Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights in May— a romantic getaway to celebrate our 15-year anniversary. We are lifelong Deep Creek Lake vacationers and have stayed at a few Bed and Breakfasts before - my husband isn't always a fan of B&Bs because he doesn't love socializing with strangers (I do, haha) and follows a strict low-carb diet, so sometimes fixed menus can be an issue. The Lake Pointe Inn was the PERFECT Deep Creek Lake Bed and Breakfast. I loved the decor in the Friend Room and the location on Deep Creek Lake was perfect. We so enjoyed taking a romantic evening boat ride (we are also boaters, so getting on the water is key!), using the canoe, and partaking in the delicious breakfasts and happy hours. There were about 6 choices for breakfast at the B&B which was helpful for dietary purposes. We were there Memorial weekend and they also had a barbecue on the banks of Deep Creek Lake which was a fun extra. At this Bed and Breakfast, you can decide how much you want to socialize with others and we found the employees to be so friendly. The "this place is extra special" moment is when I made a remark about the delicious toast and asking the owner where it was from so I could buy a loaf for my mom. The hotel owner walked into the kitchen and brought out an extra loaf for me to bring home. What a nice touch!"
