Open the windows and listen to the sound of a variety of birds or hear the soft breeze in the evergreens right outside your door. Summer brings the fragrance and color of the Lake Pointe Inn gardens, seen from your private balcony, and in the winter season, watch skiers navigate the slopes from your room. Appointed with traditional Mission style furniture and lighting, the room features soothing colors, a fireplace, and 2 HD TV’s.

This was our second couples stay at the Lake Pointe Inn, an incredible hotel on Deep Creek Lake. We stayed in the Browning Room, which provides a beautiful, romantic view through 3 large windows that overlook Deep Creek Lake. There is also a small balcony on the side, with views of the lake and the garden. There is enough room on the balcony for 2 chairs and a small round table. We also took TV trays outside and ate lunch on the balcony. The grounds around the hotel are well-maintained and the garden is beautiful. There is a pier, along with kayaks, a canoe, and paddle boards for use by guests, free of charge as they explore Deep Creek Lake. Weather permitting, the hotel offers a complimentary boat ride (and a short history lesson about the lake) in the early evenings. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety on the menu. One day during our stay, the hotel menu offered a special of avocado toast which was very good. The Lake Pointe Inn is a peaceful and relaxing hotel. We hope to return to Maryland again next year, and we would not consider staying in any hotel in Mc Henry Maryland other than The Lake Pointe Inn.
