From this most sumptuous room, you can enjoy a splendid view of Marsh Run Cove, the ski runs on the mountain, the inn’s perennial garden. A king-size white dove classic mattress and Comphy bedding add a richness to your relaxation experience and a double gas fireplace is visible from both the bedroom from the sitting area giving guests a feeling of spaciousness and peace of mind. The large bathroom, also with a lake view, has a spa tub/shower where guests can take advantage of the Lake Pointe Inn’s custom lavender bath salts.

Lake Pointe Inn is located on Maryland's beautiful Deep Creek Lake. This hotel has kayaks, and canoes for enjoying Deep Creek Lake as well as bikes for visitors to use while exploring the areas around McHenry, Maryland. For our romantic getaway, we stayed in the Friend room which had a lovely view of Deep Creek Lake and the dock. Our friends stayed in Glotfelty for their couples getaway and they had a different lovely view of Deep Creek Lake. There were fruit and cookies for snacking in the common area 24/7. There were mini fridges with all kinds of beverages stocked for us on all floors. Also, a Flavia machine to make hot beverages was on each floor. The hotel breakfasts were yummy, especially the lemon ricotta pancakes with strawberry sauce! There are many hiking trails near the hotel, and we took an easy hike to see some of the gorgeous waterfalls near Deep Creek Lake. It was a wonderful romantic getaway weekend and the amenities at this Maryland hotel were top-notch!
