We just returned from a three-night romantic getaway at The Lake Pointe Inn on Deep Creek Lake in Maryland. I had gone thru all the reviews and felt this would be a wonderful place to celebrate our 40th wedding Anniversary. Everything I had read about this Deep Creek Lake Bed and Breakfast was true. They have put so much thought into making your stay in McHenry perfect. The Bed and Breakfast is beautiful and you can tell they take great pride in it. Our breakfasts were amazing, cookies all day that were hard to say no to, candies put out for you every evening, the little touches, especially for couples, go on and on. We stayed in the romantic McHenry room, not a Deep Creek Lake view, but a beautiful room. Afternoons on the porch in rocking chairs sipping wine and enjoying the view of the lake, it doesn't get much better than that for couples on a romantic getaway! This Bed and Breakfast on Deep Creek Lake is a rare find and we will make sure we return again for our next romantic getaway!
