Just across the street from Lake Pointe Inn is Wisp Resort. This all season resort is a great place to ski in the winter and on New Years Eve they’ll be having a party to celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another. The event will include a House DJ who will keep you dancing into the night with a wide variety of musical selections. Whether you like country, hip hop, pop, rock, or some other genre, the DJ will play something that strikes your fancy. In the past the resort has also had fireworks at midnight.
Enjoy Live Music and Food at Local Restaurants
Wisp isn’t the only place you can enjoy some great music during your Deep Creek Lake New Years Eve festivities. Local restaurants and bars will have music for you to enjoy as you dine and have cocktails. Moonshadow Cafe will have a special New Years Eve dinner, a performance from Shelf Life String Band starting at 9 pm and a champagne toast at midnight. Reservations are encouraged.
